Original GI issue M7 Bayonet with original GI issue M8A1 sheath (scabbard).

The M7 Bayonet was used by the U.S. military for the M16 rifle, it can also be used for the AR-15 rifle. It was introduced in 1964, when the M16 entered service during the Vietnam War.

This bayonet is original GI issue.  It is in used/excellent condition, only showing rub marks on the blade from where the bayonet has been removed and reinserted into the sheath.
