This is one of the brightest 3-AAA flashlights that you will ever find.  It has a Cree XR-E Q5 LED Emitter with a deep, smooth reflector which means it is a BRIGHT spotlight with plenty of spill and it is also efficient so you won't be replacing batteries every time you turn around.

We live in the country and our house sits waaaay back from the road and this thing LIGHTS the entire tree line way on the other side of the road! Finding a black dog outside late at night used to be almost impossible in the past but not since we have been keeping one of these by the front door.
