These hard to find converters allow you to use a AAA battery in a device that takes AA batteries.  Flashlights, remote controls, CD players, etc., can now use AAA batteries.

These are great to throw into your survival pack because they afford you another battery option and they are so lightweight that you won't even notice they are there.

Instructions for use:

1. Insert a AAA battery and snap it shut.
2. Insert the converter into a device that requires AA batteries.

Here's where it gets fun!
After you have inserted a AAA battery into the converter, you can now insert that into a AA to D-cell or a AA to C-cell converter (not included) and insert that into your device.  In other words, with a complete set of converters, you can power all of your devices using AAA batteries because each converter can be nested into the next larger size.
