1/5"x 2" Wallet Fire Steel

$0.99

One of our smallest Fire Steels, but by no means is it too small.

Small enough to fit in your wallet, this thing can start fires with the big boys.  One swipe with the back of your knife, a stainless steel survival tool or even a piece of hacksaw blade will send an impressive shower of sparks that is sure to ignite your tinder.  Soak it in water, roll it in the dirt or let it rattle around in your glove box for months and it will still work first time, every time.

Buy several as gifts and teach your family and friends how to start fires, a skill that just might save their lives some day.

Testimonial:
A local customer came to our store and said he was having trouble using the 3/8"x4" Fire Steel that he purchased from us so we went outside so that I could teach him.  I knelt down, collected a bit of dried grass and when he handed me his Fire Steel, I reached into my wallet and retrieved my mini.

"Don't do this to me!" he exclaimed.  "You'll embarrass me!"

I shrugged off his concerns and scraped my mini directly above the dried grass and it immediately caught fire.  I quickly put the fire out and handed him my mini and told him to try it.  Strike...fire...he did it with no problem.  He wanted to know what he was doing wrong with his, so I asked him to show me how he had been using it.  He immediately started a fire so I asked what he had been doing differently.  He didn't want to tell me so I didn't press the issue.

He was so impressed with the little sparker that he purchased some before leaving and has since been back to purchase more and more .

Yes, a larger Fire Steel will produce more sparks, but this one does great and you can't stick one of the larger ones in your wallet like you can this one.

You can even stick one in the Stainless Steel Pocket Survival Tool pouch and you can stick that into your wallet.  You may as well get one of those while you are at it.

You may as well buy a bunch of these little Fire Steels while you are here because when your friends see what you can do with it, they're going to want one.
